Though amusing, I can’t say it’s as great as Red Hot Riding Hood – I like the way that film introduces us to the grandmother later in the film, letting her provide a unique twist on the action, whereas here she’s introduced to early and the gags get a little old after a while. I did like how Red Hot (and an earlier version of Riding Hood from a 30s Tex Avery cartoon) speak like Katherine Hepburn, while here it seemed that Cinderella was channeling Bette Davis. The ending is pretty funny, too.
